35th Winter School on Wave and Quantum Acoustics

These Proceedings contain printed version of contributions presented during the 35th Winter School on Wave and Quantum Acoustics which was held from 27th of February to 3rd of March, 2006 in Ustron, Poland. The School has form of three workshops:

• 2nd Workshop on Acoustoelectronics and Optoelectronics,
  
• 2nd Workshop on Molecular and Quantum Acoustics,
  
• 11th Workshop on Photoacoustics and Thermal Wave Methods.
  

The papers cover wide scope of topics concerning: propagation of ultrasound, acousto- and optoelectronics, fiber and planar optics, new materials for optics, acoustical and optical sensors, acoustical spectroscopy, acoustic properties of liquids, photoacoustic and photothermal phenomena, photoacoustic spectroscopy and thermal wave measuring methods. Some of papers are devoted to fundamental physical problems, but most of them concern applications of different physical phenomena either in engineering or in measurements. In a few contributions results of investigation of specific materials are presented.
